The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder shows off a new look. It is not because the old one did not have its charm, but the designers of Nissan chose to remodel it to, according to their say, make it a little more masculine. The Nissan Pathfinder, with its capacities of adventurer, wanted to give himself an even more assertive personality than in the past.

SEVERAL NEW FEATURES FOR THE 2017 PATHFINDER IN CHICOUTIMI

Among the most significant changes are the presence of a new grille, new bumpers and new light clusters, which allow the 2017 Pathfinder to come even closer to the style of other vehicles in the Nissan family. Besides the physical changes, however, the Nissan Pathfinder also offers some significant mechanical changes. T

he one that will be joining the Ami Junior Nissan in a few weeks will notably keep its 3.5-liter direct injection V6 engine, which has often won awards in the past, but which is receiving some improvements this year. As a result, its power goes from 260 to 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, adding to the towing capacity of the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder some 450 kilos (1,000 pounds) more than before, for a total weighing 2,750 kilograms (approximately 6,000 pounds).

Note that the new Pathfinder will still be available in all-wheel drive or two-wheel drive version. Inside, the changes are minor: new cupholders capable of holding larger cups, and a new, more user-friendly multimedia system, but the quality of the materials and the abundant space available have been retained.

FIVE VERSIONS OF THE 2017 NISSAN PATHFINDER IN CHICOUTIMI

A total of five versions of the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder will be offered. The basic version, called S gets a rear view camera with monitor, an 8-inch touch screen as well as automatic temperature control. The SV adds remote keyless entry, heated front seats and rear park assist. The SL variant adds leather seats, heated second row seats, a blind spot warning system and the Nissan Around View Monitor, a camera providing a 360-degree view of the car.

The SL TECH version adds the NissanConnect system (to which you must subscribe, however), navigation, a 13-speaker Bose sound system and a panoramic sunroof. Finally, the high-end Platinum version receives 20-inch rims, LED headlights, ventilated front seats and intelligent cruise control.

If you want to know more about this imposing vehicle that is the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, come and test drive it at L'Ami Junior Nissan or make an appointment through our contact page.
