The new Nissan Maxima has arrived
Unveiled for the first time at the New York International Auto Show, the new Maxima displays a very elegant silhouette, but above all very sporty, a powerful 300 horsepower engine, a new chassis, and a host of new technological innovations and security.
With its complex and dynamic styling, the 2016 Nissan Maxima is sure to turn heads when it hits the market later this year. The front end is aggressive with its sharp panels and pointed headlights, while the dynamic trend continues to the side and to the rear. No doubt, everyone will immediately recognize the new 2016 Nissan Maxima.
As noted above, the 2016 Nissan Maxima is powered by a powerful engine. More specifically, it is a 300-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that has been tuned for better fuel economy. Indeed, it is able to offer a 15% reduction in consumption compared to the previous generation on the motorway. It's not nothing.
In terms of safety, the new Nissan Maxima 2016 offers a range of active safety systems including intelligent cruise control, collision forecasting and prevention system, emergency braking, a cross-traffic monitoring system, and obviously a reversing camera and a blind spot monitoring system.
Inside, the new Maxima will come standard with a navigation system as is the case with the Murano today. The SiriusXM satellite radio system will also be offered, as will several comfort elements such as heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, power seats, panoramic roof, multi-zone air conditioning, and more.
Nissan took advantage of the New York International Auto Show to also unveil the price of its new Maxima. According to the Japanese manufacturer, it will start at $ 35,900 when it hits dealerships of the Japanese brand later this year.
With the arrival of the new Maxima and the new Murano this year, Nissan will undoubtedly be able to build on the momentum started last year and continue its sales growth for 2015.
